The winter is coming

Hello people,

The winter is coming… and I need to start a new running plan otherwise I will lose my freaking mind in this darkness that lies ahead. Luckily the nike running app has a new look and update so lets give it a go. Because I ran before I started with a 8 week plan which has 4-5 runs a week with an average of 25 km per week. In addition the nike running app integrates with the Nike Training Club. It keeps getting better and better.

Also the app for the apple watch is updated so now you can run without your phone.(Awesome!!) but you will need your phone if you want to track the route with the gps.

I will keep you posted with updates along the plan.

Moov disappointment

Helo guys,

I have just returned from my run with Moov. It is crap I tell you pure crap. After selecting a program I ran for 2 minutes when it started to say Moov disconnected and then at every 1 / 2 minutes the same. I have started Nike Running up the same time just to keep a record of my distance. But I can tell you the Nike Running up offers the same functionality like this Moov device.

Moov is speaking with you in a awful voice every 1 minute repeating the same text. Swing your arms…and then swing your arms….swing your legs nothing like  in the commercial video.

By the way if you press Getting Started it will open a page in the browser……Seriously is it that hard to add a video in the app and a text to tell you how to use the app. Awful.

OK, now lets be professional about it:

Moov has 4 programs and 46 levels.

  1. Brisk Walk
  2. Running Efficiency
  3. Sprint Intervals (My favorite)
  4. Speed Endurance

What I did today it was Sprint Interval and as a beginner I started with level 1.
